National Commission For Protection Of Child Rights (NCPCR): Its Objectives, Structure, Functions And Powers

The full form of NCPCR is National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights. The administrative control of NCPCR is exercised by the Ministry of Women and Child Development.According to the National Commission for Protection of the Rights of the Child (NCPCR), children’s rights are universal and inviolable.It also recognizes the importance of all child-related initiatives in the country. The safety of all children aged 0 to 18 years is equally important for the Commission.

This will also impact the target population of the programme. As a result, it is believed that only through creating a broader culture in favor of protecting children’s rights can targeted children become visible and gain confidence in accessing their rights.
