The Door to Door Cow Dung Collection program was jointly inaugurated by Municipal Commissioner IAS Saurabh Gangwar, Additional Municipal Commissioner Pramod Kumar and Mayor Meerut Harikant Ahluwalia at Saraswati Lok Depot of Meerut Municipal Corporation. On the call of Municipal Corporation Meerut Samarpan Sewa Trust also registered its presence. Under Swachh Bharat Mission for disposal of cow dung under this scheme the corporation will collect cow dung daily from cattle herders and convert it into organic fertilizer and other products. This service will be fee based and will be managed by Origin 57. The corporation deserves congratulations for this incomparable effort. As citizens of Meerut, we are fully ready to cooperate.
